Bio
Megan Packer, a Principal Engineering Geologist at Pells Sullivan Meynink, has 15 years experience in her field. With extensive international experience leading the geotechnical design of small and large-scale infrastructure projects, Megan’s areas of practice includes interpretative ground modelling, geotechnical design of large excavations & tunnels, risk and hazard identification, and forensic investigations.
Megan has worked on a range of small and large-scale infrastructure projects within Australia, UK, Ireland, the Middle East and Hong Kong; in design and construction support for complex urban railway station schemes, and other major civil engineering projects.

Megan enjoys working on projects from small but complex temporary works designs, to large-scale high-profile projects. She embraces the challenge of engineering design in varied geological settings, particularly within the complex urban environment. With experience throughout all design and construction phases, she has a good appreciation of the politically sensitive nature and practicalities of civil infrastructure works.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Megan remains an active participant in professional organisations, presenting at technical conferences and supporting young female professionals within the engineering geoscience industry. She continues to further her technical development through submission of journals and conference articles.
