We are pleased to announce that PSMs Senior Engineering Geologist Dr Davide Casagrande has been awarded the Trollope Medal from the Australian Geomechanics Society.

The medal recognises the contribution of David Hugh Trollope as one of the pioneers and leaders of Australian geomechanics research and teaching and it is awarded to the author of an outstanding paper on either theoretical or applied Geomechanics. Dr Casagrande was awarded for his paper: “A New Stochastic Approach to Predict Peak and Residual Shear Strength of Natural Rock Discontinuities.”
